Each, in their own way, played an important part of developing the guitar and its musicians. Breaking waves in the development of this popular instrument.

Mauro Giuliani ( 1781 -1829) were the one that started to use the treble key (G-clef) for guitarscores, with melody, middle voices and bassline in one system. His techniques to seperate the different voices, all paved the way for modern guitar notation.

Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841) wrote the first guitar method ever published, “Methode complette” op. 27. This was a great sucess and has been an inspiration for generations of guitarists.
